May!

Why hello there! So much for my great plan and updating this blog frequently :). Anyways....May has been a super exciting month!

To begin the month, THE SNOW IS GONE! This may not be exciting to y'all, but it is to us! The leaves actually started to get GREEN!! As you can see in the picture, I am very happy! We now have more than buds on the trees...we have LEAVES and LOTS of sunshine! You will never appreciate the summertime until you have survived a -50 winter.


And then, Micah came home on the 8th! He has been at Champion Baptist College in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He just finished up his sophomore year there. We are glad to have him home! 

This is the first we year that my mom decided to start a 'garden'. She has planted lots of vegetables and flowers. We now have an entire room FULL of plants! I think she planted more than she originality had planned, but it will be good once it is more than green plants :). We literally have plants coming out of our ears! Yesterday, the kids were so excited when they found the first strawberry!  I'll get more pictures of our garden later.
